Using a 1/8 seam allowance, top stitch along the folded edge of each of these Place your top pocket strip 1 down from the top of your lining piece
Sew in place along the bottom of the strip using seam allowance
Align your second pocket strip to the BOTTOM of your lining piece Sew in place along the bottom of the strip using seam allowance (In this piece I also added a wee white square in which I will embroider the initials of someone special!)
Measure half way across your pockets (this should be 3 in from the side) & mark with an air-erasable pen / pins Starting at the BOTTOM edge of your lining stitch along your marked lines Stitch down each side using 1/8 seam allowance
Turn your wallet inside out through the gap at the bottom. Push your corners out using a chopstick or something similar. Press carefully & hand stitch your opening closed Topstitch all around the edge using 1/8 seam allowance.
Align a nice button with your elastic & stitch on carefully to avoid stitching through your pocket.
