Cape Cod Writers Center Conference

The 56th annual Cape Cod Writers Center Conference will be held from August 2 to August 5 at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The conference features workshops and craft classes in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as mentoring sessions with agents. Fiction writer Hank Phillippi Ryan will deliver the keynote. The faculty includes poet David Surette, fiction writer C. E. Lawrence, and nonfiction writer Judah Leblang. Participating publishing professionals include agents Noah Ballard (Curtis Brown, Ltd.), Eric Myers (Myers Literary Management), Monica Odom (Liza Dawson Associates), and Monika Woods (Curtis Brown, Ltd.); and editor Diane O’Connell (Write to Sell Your Book). Tuition is $150 for a three-session course, $120 for a two-session course, or $70 for a single workshop. Manuscript consultations are available for an additional $150; query consultations with agents are available for an additional $25. General registration is $75 (free for Cape Cod Writers Center members). Lodging is available at the conference hotel for a discounted rate. The registration deadline is July 20. Catamaran Writing Conference

The 2018 Catamaran Writing Conference will be held from August 5 to August 9 at the Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, California. The conference features workshops, craft talks, and daily excursions for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers.
