My passion for recording started with dubbing mix tapes for my high school friends. I appropriated my father’s hi-fi gear which had a cassette deck with adjustable recording volumes. This allowed me to master the compilation cassettes, and my mix tapes would circulate around the school. I learnt valuable lessons; how to record to tape, and that people like things loud.
