Dave Heath Dialogues with Solitudes

Dave Heath was born in Philadelphia in1931, but moved to Canada – where he took citizenship – in the 1970s, living there until he died in 2016. At the age of four, he, curator Keith F Davis writes, ‘His sense of emotional homelessness was at once a great weight and a motivation – a source of personal pain and of deep philosophical insight… he sought a sense of self in the strangers that surrounded him'.
