Well, finally the end is in sight with my CB750K2 with this, the second part of the clutch replacement/sorting.
With the clutch dismantled we can now look at the clutch-quietening mod, which applies to the earlier (pre-K6) CB750 models. Looking at the stack of clutch plates (Photo 1), we see we have a sandwich consisting of seven friction plates and six plain steel plates. What we are going to do is to replace one of the plain plates with a special plate, which was actually designed for the Gold Wing (Photo 2, on right).
