Shiny bikes are all well and good but often the soul is torn from such machines as each dent, ding, scrape or mark gained through a lifetime of use is removed during the restoration process.

Not that we’re against shiny bikes here at , far from it, it’s just we like to see a bike which has lived a life, has tales to tell and while it may look unloved and uncared for, this AMC single is in surprisingly good internal order.
