Most people probably think engine components that rotate or reciprocate at high speeds, most notably pistons and big ends, are the hardest-working parts of a 4x4, but in truth tyres are subjected to far more variable impactors on a day-to-day basis and even more so when it comes to the adventure overlanding fraternity.
