Only 6-volts on hand with early models so connectors, terminals, etc., need to be squeaky clean. Earth issues are the most common form of electrical gremlins.

BRAKES

Basic single leading shoe set up benefits from proper setting up along with quality and properly routed cables. Modern EBC shoes come highly recommended.

GUARDS

Well known for rotting out so check any potential purchase over carefully. Fibreglass replacements are sometimes available; decent steel examples should be treated with corrosion protectant.
