As Coronavirus Spreads, U.S. Students In China Scramble To Leave

American schools are advising students to avoid travel to China, and some are working to evacuate students already there. The U.S. issued a "Do Not Travel" advisory for China on Thursday.

The 24 American students who signed up for Middlebury College's spring language program housed at Beijing's Capital Normal University were expecting tough homework assignments in Mandarin and a chance to explore a new country on weekend trips.
