Abundant CHARM

Back in 2017, newly-weds Soraya and Geoffrey van Hasselt were searching for their first home together and jumped at the opportunity to view a pretty, Grade II listed Georgian cottage in a quiet, tree-lined street in South West London. “I’ve long been an admirer of Georgian architecture and dreamt of owning a period house with a rich history,” says Soraya.

Stepping into the property for the first time, Soraya was drawn to the generous Georgian windows and plentiful light. “As soon as I saw the windows, I knew I wanted to live here. One of my favourite],” she explains. “We also liked the idea of having both a cosy snug and more formal sitting room, perfect for entertaining or just relaxing.”
