THE DARK SIDE OF POSITIVITY

In his 2011 TED “The Happy Secret to Better Work,” Harvard professor and best-selling author Shawn Achor shared his findings on happiness and success: “If you can raise somebody’s level of positivity in the present, then their brain experiences what we now call a happiness advantage.” The “happiness advantage,” Achor says, affects intelligence, creativity, energy, and work performance.
