Come on an adventure with us while raising funds for the AG Society at the same time.
I’M IN WARRUMBUNGLE National Park, in western New South Wales, looking in awe at the most stunning night-time spectacle I’ve ever seen. It’s a show that’s been billions of years in the making and features specks of brilliance that have travelled light-years to reach my field of vision – trillions of twinkles stretching overhead in all directions, seemingly forever.
The night sky here is so breathtaking mainly because this is home to Australia’s first International Dark Sky Park, where the visual polluting effects of all artificial sources of light have been removed.
