Yaesu’s FTDX-101MP Transceiver

Drawing inspiration from its legendary FT-101 and in memory of its founder, Sako Hasegawa, JA1MP, Yaesu introduced the FTDX-101MP transceiver at the 2019 Dayton Hamvention®. The FTDX-101MP is the top of the line for FTDX-101 series of transceivers and sports a 200-watt transmit output and hybrid SDR (software-defined receiver) that can pull in the faintest of signals.

Yaesu said that the narrow-band SDR receiver can remove strong, out-of-band signals using a superheterodyne method with narrow band roofing filters that will attenuate unwanted out-of-band frequency components, and convert the wanted signal
