BRYCE Gaton got interested in EVs in the 1980s, becoming seriously involved in the mid 2000s when they became a viable alternative to fossil-fuelled vehicles. He is a member of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA). In 2008, Bryce headed Swinburne TAFE’s Electrical & Renewable Energy area, where they assisted CERES to finish their first EV conversion.
