A friend recently told me how he had taken several days in a syndicate this past season and though pleased with many aspects of the day, felt it could so easily have been far better.
The shoot showed good, challenging birds that were within a sensible range and testing, so no problems there. It was in a beautiful part of the world, unspoilt and well managed; again, no problems there.
