Shooting at its most informal

We share our farm with a large number of feral pigeons. Some of these birds probably have racing ancestors, but on the whole they are a hotchpotch of shapes and sizes from all walks of life. I like to think some of them can trace their ancestry back to those half-wild birds that live on the sea cliffs and make their nests in a spray of salt.
