VISUAL MODE

A GUI text editor or word processor enables you to select and manipulate a chunk of text in one go. You can select words, lines visual mode lets you perform the same function. To ease selection of text you want to operate upon, the Visual mode itself provides three distinct modes: Character, Line and Block.
