General licences: where we are and the latest reactions

As the July edition of Sporting Gun goes to press, it has been four weeks since Natural England announced the revocation of general licences 04, 05 and 06.

The announcement caught most in the shooting community by surprise, following a challenge by Wild Justice, the campaign group, as to the legality of the licences. Much has happened since Natural England announced the withdrawal of the licences with effect from the end of Thursday 25 April.
