Q I start the day with good intentions to exercise but usually end up putting it off and putting it off and end up doing nothing. How can I stay motivated?

A The key to this lies within the mind. Your calm, rational mind sets a good intention, however the aspect of mind that is controlled by emotions gets in the way. It wants to stay in bed or go out for coffee now rather than later! But we can train our minds as we train our muscles. We can prioritise our fitness by strengthening the aspect of the mind that makes good decisions. A good strategy is to write down your training intentions and why you are doing them. Keep this visible. Then, get into the habit of training
