    Wildboere hou van die natuur en is natuurbewaarders in hul harte – daarom kies hulle dié leefstyl. Wat die ongeveer 3 500 wildboere in Suid-Afrika die afgelope paar dekades bereik het, is om 20 miljoen ha marginale, dikwels verswakte landbougrond te neem en die breër biodiversiteit in hierdie enorme gebied (20% van Suid-Afrikaanse landbougrond) te verbeter deur die bekendstelling en die verhoging van die aantal inheemse wildspesies met die gevolglike verbeterde volhoubaarheid van die land, diversiteit en gesondheid van alle plante en diere wat daar aangetref word.
