Prescription inserts or lenses?

Q I read James Marchington’s column in last month’s magazine and it struck a chord with me, because I too have tried prescription inserts and been less than delighted with the results. Do you suggest I go to a shooting vision expert like yourself for inserts better suited to the sport, or would I do better to bite the bullet and go for shooting glasses with full prescription lenses?
