Swung Beats

ur exclusive pack this month sees sound designer Richard James going lo-fi, with a collection of gritty and heavily swung MPC-style electronic beats. There are 100 loops in total, split into groups of 75, 90, 100 and 110bpm, with plenty of sample layering and detuning, followed by MPC quantise and some nudging off grid to taste. The loops were then run through some extra processing including compression, limiting, parallel compression, distortion and tape saturation to get things sounding
