SPITFIRE AUDIO Orbis

Spitfire is never a company to sit on its laurels, with its extensive product line offering plenty for soundtrack composers and producers alike. Orbis is the latest addition, taking us out of the comfy studio environment and capturing unique instrumentation from around the world. And it’s all packaged into a highly usable and versatile form that offers everything from basic sample playback to complete resynthesis.

The idea behind Orbis was first conceived by Spitfire co-founder Paul Thomson, upon the discovery of an extensive library of world sounds that had been recorded and collected by composer David Fanshawe over many years of extensive travels.
