8-bore big game rifle

My regular shooting gun is a dainty little 2in boxlock by Arthur Howell of Birmingham, weighing a diminutive 5½lbs. I occasionally use my Boss hammer gun that seems very heavy to me at 7lbs but when I have to hold one of these over-under jobs at 7½lbs for friends crossing fences, I am glad I don’t have to carry one around all day.
