Common sense has at last prevailed – who would have thought it? Our pressure groups speaking with one voice to support a sensible but unpopular move in order to safeguard the sport of game shooting. Like it or loathe it, the use of lead shot was well overdue for retirement; thank goodness we have seen sense.
