Two steps forwards, one step back

The Dodge van that was the recipient of so much expensive largesse last month is still being uncooperative. It still drove like a pig after new timing gear, assorted engine bay sort outs and a new radiator, but at least it was more or less drivable. In fact I drove it five miles to the beach, taking fat dog and smelly dog for a stroll and a sniff at the dead crabs and some futile chasing of seagulls.
