IRREGULAR BEHAVIOUR
Q I recently bought a 1992 Mini Cooper which has a recurring problem. When you keep the engine speed at 2500 rpm or above, the revs seem to go up and down without any input to the pedal. A rattling noise also occurs now and again. I’ve been told that it could be the sensors, the ignition coil or the fuel cut-off. I also noticed that the catalytic converter has been taken off and told that it could be the Lambda sensor.
