    So I took the plunge and purchased a T4 California, which is fitted with the 2.5-litre petrol engine (so I can still drive into London at present) and a manual gearbox. While it is certainly a lot newer than my Subaru-powered Type 25 Camper, this Van is getting on for 30 years old now, soI knew it was going to require some kind of restoration and running repairs.
