Collectors’ Corner memories of selling to Sir William, Jools Holland and Pete Waterman

MEMORIES of Collectors’Corner, which became a mecca for railwayana enthusiasts after the end of steam in 1968, have been recalled by Bob Ballard, who ran the store for almost its entire existence near Euston station.

Bob, a career railwayman who retired in 1999, revealed his insightful reminiscences after an article in issue 265 about from LMS Jubilee No. 45659 (£70) and LNER duo from A3 No. 60070 (£180) and from A1 No. 60158 (£150).
