GARMIN ACKNOWLEDGES CYBERATTACK, DOESN’T MENTION RANSOMWARE

The GPS device maker Garmin Ltd. acknowledged this week being victimized by a cyberattack last week that encrypted some of its systems, knocking its fitness tracking and pilot navigation services offline.
