What makes PG education in JNU special?

JNU has been from its inception encouraging and promoting an interdisciplinary approach in PG programmes. Almost every PG programme of the university has an inbuilt structure that allows students to opt for courses from any other discipline available in the university. So, for example, a student from social sciences can opt for a course related to environmental issues which is taught in the School of Environmental Sciences.
