The folk at Paccar, the American giant that owns DAF, do not like to waste money where it’s not necessary and you only have to look at the longevity of American truck cabs to see that. And that philosophy is now true of its DAF models.

Now the critics will tell you the current XF models use a 33-year-old cab. There’s an element of truth in that but stand a 1987 DAF 95.310 next to a 2020 model XF530 Super Space cab and only those in the know would really be able to tell they share the same DNA.
