New boards take over at Llangollen Railway following Corwen dispute

TWO new boards have been formed to run Llangollen Railway plc and its supporting trust following the resignation of the chairman and previous directors over a difference of opinion regarding a feature of the line’s new Corwen terminus.

On September 29, the railway announced that Liz McGuinness, chairman of both boards, had resigned, along with fellow elected directors Hugh Shipton and Quentin McGuinness, and two co-opted
