PIRELLI SCORPION TRAIL AND ENDURO TYRES

With a name synonymous with motorsport, Pirelli turned their attention to mountain bikes in 2019 with the Scorpion mountain bike range of tyres. The Italians hit the dirt with four tread patterns in 2.2”, 2.4” and 2.6” casing sizes. The bigger the casing, the more the reinforcement. Pirelli’s Scorpion range is defined by their conditions specific tread selection. They have a Rear specific tyre, plus a tyre for Soft conditions, Mixed conditions and Hard conditions. As the masters of rubber, Pirelli rely on their specfically formulated single compound SmartGrip rubber to provide the chemical grip with the terrain, while it’s the tread pattern that creates the mechanical grip.
