Before we can apply mains voltage to our amplifier, it’s paramount that we double-check our wire connections, both physically and with a continuity meter. Doing so will allow us to rest safe in the knowledge that all of our crucial high-voltage connections are in the right place, as well as ground connections. If I had mistakenly connected a highvoltage wire to the eyelet on the board, we could be in for a catastrophe.
