The E27N P6 was offered from March 1948, and cost £485. There were no optional extras available; everything was built into the standard price. They model was fitted with a 7.7 green spot transmission, meaning that it had high-top gear, unless otherwise ordered.

The 45hp Perkins P6 engine conversions were offered before they were available as original options. I understand that the Ford Motor Co fitted two E27N tractors with P6 engines for the experimental department at Dagenham, and that these machines were sent for evaluation with the Gunnery farming family, which ran a market garden business near Dagenham, where the tractors could be used for ploughing, cultivating and drilling work at all times of the year.
