The sound effects, skits, and character voices / different narrators are really distracting. The whole thing feels like a cheap educational VHS tape aimed at middle schoolers. I couldn't even reach the 20 min mark.

This quick guide to communication makes a useful point about getting to the point. The author backs his main message with tips about having a clear objective and using hooks. It's all valuable info, but I didn't find it as captivating or useful as other works I've explored in this genre.

Good for what it is... but as an American who's lived in the UK my entire adult life, this book reminded me why other countries think we (USians) are all endlessly chasing after money, trying to "put one over" on the other guy (and not very subtly!) and other general observations about US society. To listeners from other countries: please try to remember that this is a book very much from a Boomer mindset, about a corporate world that hasn't existed since I was a kid ('80s-'90s) and this is not reflective of most Americans currently in their 40s or younger.

The recording is not well made, there is a lot of distracting sounds and different voices. The books message of the book is clear and the book should be 30sec long. Is stopped listening as it is listening to the same message on repeat. Not worth the time .

Too much background noise and too many various people speaking - it was too confusing and let my concentration wane. The exaggerated way of speaking was awful and made me anxious to get to the end.
