      I admit it... this one made me burst into tears. There's just nothing like unbridled emotions. Sure it was set around a movie set with a surfer at the top of his game but BOY it was just what I needed today. (and just to reassure... despite my tears there is a HEA in this one)

      I thought the author had a good story line, but the character development wasn't enough for me. I thought we only scratched the surface of what Willow and Cooper could be dealing with individually on a daily basis.

      I can say there is a "Surprise" that I did not seem coming- maybe you will but I was totally blindsided! I couldn't help but think of Lindsay Lohan while reading this book- but Willow is way more in control than she is. There are so many secrets that it will make your head spin. All I wanted was for Willow & Cooper to seal the deal, if you know what I mean, but Willow kept running. It's heart breaking that things keep happening and challenging Willow to go back to her old ways. I was rooting for her at every turn. You will have to read it to find out if she can put her demons behind her and love that boy that sees the real her.
      Some steamy Hot scenes nothing raunchy.
      Fabulous ending!!

      As per my hunches go, I was pretty spot on from the start. This story is very predictable.

      Willow Avery is a recovering drug addict actress who's career depends on this one last chance she gets for a movie - a surfer in Hawaii leading role.
      She's being "given" to Cooper, an Australian surfing instructor to prepare her for the role. She also has to juggle her probation community service while preparing and filming the movie, and deal with old scars while staying on the wagon.

      Cooper himself has some past issues that are revealed throughout the story.

      There's UST, romance, passion, hot guys, Hollywood and some old school backstabbing, but it's all expected.

      One good thing this book has going for itself is good writing.

      Willow Avery, popular teen queen movie star has just been released from rehab. Fresh out of a drug haze and still unsure about herself, Willow is shipped to Hawaii for her next big summer hit. In the process of trying to stay sober, deal with her past trauma and devastating circumstances, Willow teams up with Cooper, Hawaii's best surf instructor.Lonely, out of touch from the L.A lifestyle and vulnerable for the first time since she was young, Willow begins facing the demons of her past and slowly lets Cooper in, he's not after her money, her status or a one night stand, he truly just wants her. As the budding romance turns into something deeper and more intense Cooper and Willow will each need to confess their secrets and even the ones which could alter the relationship for the worse. Funny thing about secrets though, sometimes they can really bite you in the butt, and Cooper and Willow are about to need bandages.I had fun reading this story, I really loved the romance, the build up (even though at times it seemed rushed) and the overall story presented in this mature adult read. The books crystal clear message being- spoiled rich famous kids who destroy themselves with drugs need help not gossip pages. As sweet and a tad moving that notion tends to be, celebrity's make choices too, they just have a lot more money to be sophisticated about it. With the authors talented way of making Willow seem more human and less celebrity, I did feel for her but in the end never really felt sorry for her situation or her celebrity status.

      I loved this book. It reminded me all over again of why I fell in love with New Adult books. Willow is 19 years old and just getting out of rehab, again. She has been acting for the biggest part of her life, and when she was 16 years old, something happened to her that changed her. It was easier to cope, to black out from it all, with alcohol and drugs after that. A whole lot easier than dealing with the pain. Her last stunt almost had her blacklisted in the Hollywood arena. Because of that, on her first day out of rehab, she finds herself at a meeting regarding a film, with the understanding that this might be in a "last chance before porn" type of situation, which she really didn't need to mess it up. It is here that she meets the oh so hot, cocky, sexy, smart ass, panty-dropping Cooper Taylor, attitude, accent, and all. Cooper is a surfing instructor in Hawaii, where Willow finds herself the next day. Cooper will be coaching her for the film, Tidal, which is a remake of the original. As bad as she doesn't want to be, Willow is extremely affected by Coopers voice, his touch, his everything. He makes it clear that his rule is that he doesn't have relationships with his clients, but as they soon find out, rules are made to be broken. I loved Willow's character. She had been through so much, had messed up so badly, and she knows it, yet beats herself up so much over the things she has done. I loved watching her character develop over the course of this book, as she fights the addiction and begins to come to terms with it, with her life, and gradually opens herself up to love once again. She's a mess, but she she really wants to be fixed, and Cooper plays a big role in helping her get there. She doesn't have that "princess" attitude where she thinks she deserves everything. In fact, I found her to be quite humble. That doesn't mean she was always that way, but life's circumstances have brought her to this place. Cooper Taylor, now he is to die for. I loved him, smart mouth and all. He couldn't have been a better fit for Willow. First of all, he wasn't intimated by who she was in the slightest. He pushed her, challenged her, causing her to desire to do better. He protected her fiercely, and he also understood her. He was far from perfect to, and despite the sizzling chemistry between them, they had their issues to deal with, both having secrets, and both needing healing. The setting of the story was beautiful, and the story itself captured my attention from page one through the epilogue. Yes, there is a beautiful epilogue, which just made me feel so satisfied and complete after I read it. I love a good ending, and Emily Snow has provided just that in Tidal. Overall, Tidal is a great romance with an interesting and captivating story line that is entertaining, heartwarming, and heartbreaking at times. I enjoyed Willow and Cooper's journey as they progressed through the story and dealt with everything that life and Hollywood had to throw at them. Was it easy for them? No, not by any means. Was it was worth it all? Yes, and it is beautiful. I definitely recommend Tidal to all New Adult Contemporary Romance fans.
