About this audiobook
With her mom driving and her best friends Jen and Sally in tow, Jacque set off for her happily ever after. She will soon realize a plan has been put in motion that will change her course and possibly tear her from Fane's grasp forever. It will take a wolf pack, her mother's love, her two best friends' unrelenting determination, her own will to survive, and the undying love of her mate to bring her home. The question remains, if she fights, if she endures, who will she be, what will be left once she is back in her mate's arms?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this book, it’s so full of passion, wonderful characters that I’m getting to know better and better. Like Jacque, Jen and Sally, whom are best friends and would do anything for each other. They also bring plenty of comic relief, during stressful times, along with none stressful times. Fane Jacque’s mate, who’s so in love with her, is a passionate, dangerous Alpha male Prince, who’s tall, built and hot as hell to boot. Would do anything for her, as we see again and again. He cares about nothing, but keeping her safe and being with her.
The story moves along at a fast pace and when it ended, I was very disappointed. That is until I remembered there’s more books to go.
There’s definitely something brewing between Jen and one of the werewolves in Fanes pack, the beta( I can’t think of his name, it was quite different). Anyways if they get together it’s going to be a great read for sure. It was obvious they liked each other, while they’re all working on rescuing Jacque.
It was so beautiful at the end when Fane and Jacque, finally pledge themselves to each other, get blood bonded, married and are together for the first time. It was emotional for sure. I’m dying to read the next book, it’ll be book three of this series. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Jacque is looking forward to completing her mating bond with Fane now that the alpha of Coldspring has been defeated. Fane is her other half in every way that counts but she knows the ritual will seal that fact with every ounce of certainty possible. Her anxiety grows as time draws near for the ceremony to be completed. Her two best friends, Jen and Sally, are also there by her side in hopes of helping her keep her emotions at bay until the moment she and Fane can be made as one.News of her upcoming rituals spreads far and wide and Jacque soon learns who her true father is. Much to her chagrin, Vasile is intent on protecting her at all costs, even if it means putting a stop to her mating bond with Fane. This is something she will not allow. As she and the others head out for the coming ritual, no one ever imagined that Jacque’s life would hang in the balance. She, her mother, and her best friends soon come to harm, setting off a chain reaction that has every werewolf in the distance on their guard. Suspicions rise as everyone tries to figure out the culprit behind the incident. When Jacque goes missing, its up to Fane and the others to find her before anything else happens. This, unfortunately, is easier said than done. Yet her safety is of the utmost importance and Fane will stop at nothing until he has her back within his arms.I didn’t have the luxury of reading the first book in the series since I received this book via a blog tour that I was part of but I have to say it won’t ruin anything for me once I eventually read it. With that said, this was quite an intriguing read. Granted, there were a couple instances that had me scratching my head and wondering what was going on, like Jen’s having beer in the hospital and Jacque’s waking up as if nothing really serious had happened. All in all, the book is a good read despite the small inconsistencies.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I wish I would have known that BLOOD RITES was book 2 before I read it. There were some parts that I was scratching my head wondering what they were talking about or or wishing I had some back story to go with some information and now I'm sure it was all in book 1 but alas I started reading book 2 with no background. While you can definitely enjoy BLOOD RITES without it I would probably read book 1 if you have the chance. (ha who am I to talk, I still didn't go back and read book 1 after I found out about it lol)I was a little skeptical on whether or not I would enjoy BLOOD RITES going in to it. I wasn't crazy about the cover and I didn't know there was a book 1 so the blurb didn't really grab at me, but I'm glad I decided to give it a chance. Quinn's writing style flowed nicely, was easy to follow, and was easy to get into. Even though her characters were young and being mated everything was well explained at a Young Adult level while still being filled with romance and sticky situations. Fane and Jacque fit well together and were easy to like. I loved all the secondary characters. Jacque's best friends provided plenty of humor and support, while the little side love hate relationship between Jen and Decebel did a fantastic job of leading us to what will happen in book 3. All of the events of BLOOD RITES flowed nicely. There was plenty of conflict, heartache, action and werewolf politics to keep me on my toes as well as plenty of connection, romance and little things that made my heart melt.Like I said before, I really wish I would have known about book 1, I'm not sure how I missed and and would have loved the back story but I still really enjoyed BLOOD RITES and would recommend it to all young adult werewolves book lovers.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5My thoughts:This was my first book by Quinn Loftis. I was thrilled! I have already gone and gotten Prince of Wolves and absolutely cannot wait for the next book, Just One Drop, which is sure to be Jen and Decebel's story! That is sure to be a wild ride! So...about this book:The characters are wonderful. Each has a fantastic and well developed personality. They seem to embody the very ideas of family, friendship, and loyalty. At times I had a hard time putting these personalities into teenagers, but loved them just the same. I was fascinated by the 3 musketeers-type relationship between Jen, Sally and Jac - three women that get along is rare and it was fun to be a part of it while reading the story. The men in the book are incredible - even the bad guys! One of my favorite parts of shifter stories is the bond/soul mate idea. I love the dedication and give all that we see in bonded pairs. Alina (Fane's mother) tells Jen about the bond on page 145/146 and it is amazingly written! The last sentence goes like this, "She gets a friend, a lover, a mate, the only man in this world who can complete her and give her the other half of her soul."I can't imagine that kind of total devotion - although the thought of someone being able to read my mind at any given time is terrifying! The story is a well paced emotional roller coaster and the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough for my liking, but was so into the story that skimming to get to the next page faster was absolutely NOT an option! If you enjoy shifter stories, or if you have even wanted to read a shifter story to see if you would like them - DO NOT miss this one!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Quinn Loftis offers laugh out load funny novels that will grab readers with the witty humor and intense romance. I have been anxiously awaited this novel, and it was far exceeded my expectations. Jacque and Fane mesmerized readers with this heart stopping romance in Prince of Wolves. Book two Blood Rites starts up right when the first book ended, and will have readers jumping and running through this fast awesome read. The addition of another palpable romance adds to the complexity of this lovable tale; while bring supporting characters into the limelight. It was fun to see the characters transform in this book. I am certain that we can look for these characters to continue throughout the remaining installments of The Grey Wolves series. There were also a few new addition to the cast in this book, and I was excited to see the developments for this characters as well. Especially in the development of Jacque’s Father. Quinn allows his character to be better understood and cherished I hope to see more of his character in the future. I even found myself to sympathize within these pages. The overall of feel of these novels are absolute intensity and momentum, but the addition of humor make the entire book. Jen is the majority of our comic relief , and I just can’t get over her character. I LOVE HER!!!! I was completely floored by the development of her character as well throughout this novel, and can’t wait to see the outcome of her situation in book three. It is obvious that Jen and Jacque are growing through this two novels, and I can’t wait to see what the future novels hold for the both of them. In the end, Loftis leaves me speechless and flabbergasted with this addictive read. I have trouble effectively expressing my love for this book, and its ability to increase my heart rate and take my breath away. As my newest addition to my favorites list I must recommend this series.
