About this audiobook

When it comes to passion this hot, it's all or nothing.

Olivia Townsend's wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for-a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.

An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she's ever met. To Marissa, he's an enigma, but one to whom she's irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.

With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems-except for the blind passion that Marissa can't escape-or maybe even survive.

I can't tell you how excited I have been for this book to release. I totally fell in love with Cash Davenport In Down to You and Up to Me, and I have been dying to read Nash Davenport's story in Everything for Us. The story picks up where Up to Me leaves off, focusing on Nash and Marissa, and is told from both of their points of view. Marissa has always been kind of a b*tch, but after her abduction, she has realized the kind of person she has been, and wants to change and never be that person again. She also realizes that she wants the dark, sexy Nash Davenport more than anything. Nash Davenport is the darker of the Davenport twins, and once you know his history, you will understand why. He is hot beyond measure, sexy, exudes dominance, doesn't care what anyone things, and is kind of scary. He wants one thing...revenge...something he has been looking forward to for the past 7 years. The last thing he is interested in is a relationship. He's never cared for a woman for more than one thing, and he doesn't make a secret of that fact, yet something about Marissa keeps drawing him in, and he isn't quite sure what to do with it. The walls that Nash has put up around his heart and emotions to survive have created a hardness in him that has allowed him to be able to cope and focus on his goal, and Marissa is beginning to chip away at them. Nash also has major trust issues, which is totally understandable to. In addition to all the secrets he has, he has one that specifically involves Marissa, and Nash isn't sure what will happen when she realizes what that is. The chemistry between Nash and Marissa is electrifying, and the sex, well M. Leighton knows how to deliver in that area and the Davenport boys, they just ooze with sex appeal and hottness. We also get to see plenty of Cash and Olivia in this book, which was awesome. Nash is so wounded and hard, and Marissa really surprised me with how understanding she was of him and his needs. Whether she wants to or not, she is losing her heart to this man, which is something that she may or may not survive. Theirs is not an easy journey by any means. Meanwhile, Nash and Cash are working towards helping their dad, which requires Nash to make contact with some dangerous people from his past. As badass as Cash is, Nash is an even badder badass if that is possible, and I totally loved him, but Cash will always be my favorite. Everything for Us is filled with suspense, angst, drama, and HOT romance. I love the way M. Leighton takes these two characters, especially Marissa, who has come across as unlikable and unlovable up to this point in the series, and makes you totally fall in love with them both, rooting for them and their relationship, as they go through so much in this book. I loved the ending. I don't know if there are any plans for future installments in this series or not, but I would love to see Gavin get a book. Everything for Us is a must read for all M. Leighton fans, and I thoroughly enjoyed it and most definitely recommend it.

Teil 3 der Addicted to you Trilogie habe ich wieder vom Bloggerportal erhalten.

Review courtesy of Dark Faerie TalesQuick & Dirty: Extremely sexy read full of drama, suspense, and hot romance. It was an exquisite ending to a great series!!!Opening Sentence: It’s always the same. The Review:This is the third book in the series and just reading the synopsis of this story will spoil some major parts of the first two books. I advise that if you want to avoid spoiling anything that you should steer clear of reading this review unless you have already read the first two books.Marissa has always got everything she ever wanted. She grew up in a very wealthy home, has a fabulous career, and all the friends money could buy. She became a very cold and calculated person that only cared about getting what she wanted in life. Then one day she gets kidnapped and everything changes. She is rescued by the sexiest, most dangerous man she has ever met. Getting a second chance at life has forced Marissa to look at her life and who she has become. She doesn’t really like what she sees.Nash Davenport has no need for attachments. The last seven years of his life has been hell and now he finally has a chance at the revenge he has been patiently waiting for. Then out of nowhere Marissa enters into his life. She is gorgeous and feisty, two things Nash really likes in a woman. When their undeniable attraction ignites a relationship full of passion Nash isn’t so sure that he will just be able to walk away like he always has in the past. He knows that what they have can never last, but that doesn’t stop him from wanting her more than anything else.I actually really liked Marissa. You get to know her a little bit in the first two books, but being inside her head was very eye opening. I’ll be honest, I thought that she was a total snot and the way she treated Olivia was totally unacceptable, but getting kidnapped really changed her. She wants to redeem herself and become someone that is worthwhile human being. She’s tired of just doing whatever daddy says and being a pretty face. Watching her struggle to become this better improved person was quite a journey and it really helped me to form a connection with her. She went from being a very unlikable person to someone I would love to have as a friend. Her story was interesting and I thought she was a very strong character.Nash is so messed up, which just made him so much more loveable. His anger and resentment have gotten him through some really hard times in the last few years and he doesn’t really know how to feel any other emotions. He doesn’t trust anyone and getting revenge for his mother’s death is the only way for him to finally be able to move past what happened to him. I seriously thought that Nash was the perfect blend of sexy, dangerous, and broken. You know he can take care of himself, but you can’t help but want to fix him. His relationship with Marissa is full of hot passion and some very steamy scenes. I loved their chemistry and thought that they really complimented each other well. Nash is a very swoon worthy guy that I just couldn’t help but love.Everything for Us was very seductive and full of heartfelt moments. I love the way Leighton adds great drama and mystery to a hot and sexy romance story. From the very first page I was hooked and I read the whole book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down. I loved Cash and Olivia’s story but it was refreshing to see the story from Nash and Marissa’s POV. But not to fear, you still get to see plenty of all the other characters in the story as well. I thought that this was the perfect ending to this fantastic series and I am very sad to see it end. I would highly recommend this series to anyone that enjoys a provocative steamy love story mixed with mystery and suspense!Notable Scene:“I think there are times in life when you need something to lose yourself in, something to take away the pain, take away the feeling of everything else. Something to numb it. Just for a while.” As quietly as the beat of my heart, Nash articulates exactly what I’ve been thinking and feeling. And then he makes me an offer I can’t refuse, one that I don’t even want to refuse. He leans in closer, his lips brushing the shell of my ear as he speaks. “I can be that for you. We can be that for each other.” Chills race down my arm.Nash’s hand moves into the hair at the nape of my neck. He cups the back of my head and angles his face until he can draw the lobe of my ear into his mouth. I feel the brush of his hot tongue and my eyes drift closed. “I could make you forget everything else. I can make sure that you feel nothing but pleasure, that you can’t think past what I’m doing to your body, what I’m making you feel. With my hands,” he says, pulling his fingers from my hair and trailing them down my arm to my hip. “With my lips,” he continues, moving his mouth across my cheek. “With my tongue,” he whispers as he spreads wet heat across my bottom lip with the tip of the very tongue of which he speaks. “And I promise, you’ll love every second of it.” As if to punctuate his statement, he bites down ever so lightly, sinking his teeth into my flesh.FTC Advisory: Berkley/Penguin provided me with a copy of Everything for Us.
