- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I was not surprised by how wonderful this book was! Donna VanLiere is an awesome writer! Everyone should read it - not just a Christmas but any time!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A couple torn by grief find hope again at Christmas. Four years after their son died, Patti and Mark Addison are just going through the motions. But just before the holiday, Patti, in her capacity as a social worker with Family Services, is called out to place an orphaned child, and she makes a spur of the moment decision that will open her heart again.
This is a charming, simple Christmas story of hope, love and faith. It’s a bit maudlin and certainly predictable, but that’s okay during the holiday season. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A nice story to add at Christmas and or if you have an adopted child. This story is a quick fun interesting read with believable and likeable characters. I recommend this book as it is better than the made for TV movie.
