Descrição

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a novella about the search for happily ever after. This printed edition includes exclusive new material-a new epilogue and an essay written by the author.

A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will last only one hour, and it will be only make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them seemed perfect only because they were pretending it was. Moments like that happen only in fairy tales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in love-at-first-sight is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Unfortunately for Daniel, finding true love doesn't guarantee a happily ever after . . . it only further threatens it.

Will an unbearable secret from the past jeopardize Daniel and Six's only chance at saving each other?

This was a great read! It was about first love and the struggles that come along with it.

In the beginning you get a glimpse of Daniel's life with Cinderella. I loved that part. It was so romantic to see them fall for one another without even seeing each other. Later he meets Six who reminds him of Cinderella in every way. Together they face troubles to build a lasting relationship.

The Author did a fabulous job creating a beautiful love story.

Highly Recommend, but please keep in mind it is short because it's a novella

    Wow. Just. Wow.

I love Colleen Hoover's humor she writes into her stories. She's one of the few authors that can make me laugh out loud (for reals LOL!) This one can really be read as a standalone short story or as a companion to the Hopeless series. Very sweet love story.

5 stars! AMAZING! My favorite part was the whole damn book! Colleen Hoover rocks as usual. Enough said!

I love Colleen Hoover's books and this was no exception. I just wish it had been a full-length book rather than a novella/short story. The story really deserved more time.Daniel is brash and funny and Six is just as witty. They're a great couple though it turns out both are looking for a secret lover that they don't really know the identity of because they met in a dark utility closet and never exchanged names. It's a good story. I just wanted more time with them.

Colleen Hoover's plot twists are genius. This novella was very nice.

I didn't realize until I got started that this was a young adult book about kids in high school but it was rated so high I continued on. However I just didn't see the appeal of this story until near the end. I'm glad it was short. Daniel pretends to love a girl who stumbles upon him in a dark closet.

A cute short romance between two young adults who meet and then seperate, never really knowing the other. Fate brings them back together and the attraction is swift and mutual.

OMG the banter between Six & Daniel is Hilarious - They just made me want to jump in the book and be best friends with them. Everything is going oh so Fabulous between these two it's almost unbelievable to them as well. Until one of them figures out that they already slept together. Then what comes next I didn't see coming holy moly I was shocked!
Lots of Sexual Tension but not hot steamy sex (besides the one time at the beginning of the book). Fantastic ending.

Wow, this book just took me on the best love roller-coaster of all times. If you live "if you read the book Hopeless you know what live is" Sky and Dean, then you will butterflyingly love this book. Colleen did it again! Wow!

I have only read this book but I feel like I should read the series it was amazing. The feelings that this book can make you feel ... It was heart wrenching and happy. Will probably read it again.

Since this is a novella, I won't write a full review. But it was the perfect way to end a great series. Daniel and Six are two characters that I didn't feel like I got to learn about enough and I'm happy that this book dove into their characters more. I also enjoyed the closure that I didn't fully get from Hopeless. I will be returning to this series I'm sure.

What a sweet love story! Does anyone remember the dynamic in the TV show Moonlighting from the 1980's with Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd? The banter between those two and our two characters in Finding Cinderella is so similar, only with an updated, younger, hipper take. Think back to your first real love. Do you remember the silliness and missed connections? Do you remember hurting each other's feelings? The doubts and the ectasy? It is captured so well here. Come to think of it, old love has those elements too. This old lady was made youthful again for an hour or so. This is an author that I must read again. My heart was charmed. My thanks to Goodreads and the author for a complimentary copy .

I think I enjoyed Daniel and Six's story more than Holder and Sky's, and that is saying a lot!

Colleen Hoover has a way with words, that is for sure. I adored Daniel. He made me laugh and swoon all at the same time.

This novella left me wanting more! I want to learn more about both of the main characters. Who knew that you could pretend to be in love with someone just for 50 minutes and end up really losing a piece of your heart to them without ever knowing who that person is, without knowing what they look like.

I love that in that moment it didn't matter what the other person may have looked like. It was about feeling. A connection not based on physical attraction, but the attraction of the mind and personality.

I like how we saw a softer side to Six. I love her humor just as much as I loved Daniel's.

I am so glad Colleen Hoover wrote this novella. BTW it is FREE guys, but I would of paid for it. It would of been worth it. Now I just want more, even though everything ended great I still want more of these two!

I didn't like this one! The plot was childish and really not believable!

Ugh I missed them already, loved loved this novela...
Makes want to know more about their life in college together!!!
Absolutely love Daniel and his family, I couldn't stop laughing!!
    That twist tho WOW!!!
I spent the whole book with a silly smile in my face
Was nice to get deep into their story, I wanted more of six in Hopeless and more of Daniel in Losing Hope and I got it here, really sad that wasn't longer but happy I got to read it
I discovered Colleen not long ago and I love every book I've read so far. She makes you feel every word I love it. Thank you Colleen can't wait for the next story
P.S: I HOPE THIS ISNT THE END OF THESE BEAUTIFUL CHARACTERS ❤

It was a super fast and short read but was super powerful. I kind of saw the end coming but it really shocked me with the twist that it came with. Just loved it. Cute fun romance.

I really really really enjoyed reading this short novella! I loved Hopeless and I thought this was a great add on to the series since I really wanted to see how Sky's and Holder's best friends will play out! You can actually read this book without reading Hopeless or Losing Hope!I swear Colleen Hoover always writes the best books! She makes them funny and emotional and heartwarming at the same time! She needs a freaking Prize for this and all of her other books! I would definitely recommend to read this novella! and any other book by Colleen Hoover! Like go and read it...right now. You will definitely enjoy it! Here is some of my favorite quotes/moments: "She dips her spoon into her ice cream, then puts the spoon back in her mouth. I can’t stop staring at that spoon. I think I love that spoon." ~Daniel "It feels like her air just became my air and I suddenly want to take in fewer breaths in order to ensure she never runs out." ~Daniel “For real,” I say. “You’re my best friend and I love you. I’m not ashamed to admit that I love a guy. I love you, Holder. Daniel Wesley loves Dean Holder. Always and forever.”“Daniel, go make out with your girlfriend.”
“Not until you tell me you love me, too.”
“I fucking love you, now GO AWAY.”
I grin “I love you more.”

I am almost done with all of Colleen Hoovers books, as I am trying to keep a few for when I am hitting a reading slump. She is my absolute favorite, and she never disappoints. This is one of the few I had last to read. The only reason I am disappointed is due to it being so short! I need more!!Hopeless is one of my favorite books she has written, so I loved getting back into these characters. I liked getting to see some of my favorite characters from the series, and also learning more about Six. I loved the relationship between Six and Daniel. Daniel is very sarcastic which I love in a character. He makes me laugh.Mind blown! I am writing this as I am reading, and what just happened?! I knew something was coming, but it was not what I was thinking at all!Overall, I really enjoyed this. I am so happy the new book comes out soon! I need more CH!

I've been waiting on Finding Cinderella for a while now. I loved Hopeless and really enjoyed Losing Hope so I couldn't wait to delve back into this world and see my old friends again. First of all I just want to say how amazing this novella is. Smaller stories are always so much harder to write well. Sometimes there's just not enough pages or enough going on for readers to connect with the characters like they can in a full length novel. Obviously that is not the case here, not only was I able to connect with Six and Daniel I was also very surprised that I was so invested in their story that I no longer cared that the story wasn't about Sky and Holder. Six and Daniel were just so engaging but of course Sky and Holder both make appearances which was just icing on the cake which already had really good icing.

During Hopeless I never really gave it much thought when Daniel was talking to Holder about the girl he met in the close at school. It just never really registered with me until this story. Daniel was seeing that crazy mean girl (Was it Vicky? I'm not sure) and I never even suspected that the girl that he was with could have been Six but it makes so much sense. Daniel had so much more depth to him in Finding Cinderella than he did in Hopeless. With him being one of the two main characters you really get a good idea of who he truly is on the inside and he was so perfect for Six. Six is literally looking for the exact same thing that Daniel has always been looking for and when they met in a dark closet and pretended to be in love it was so very sweet and even more so when they met each other again and fell in love for real. Of course there's a bit of sadness too but just like with Hopeless Colleen Hoover handles it so well that it makes you care for both characters even more. There's nothing cliché about Six or Daniel, they're not your stereotypical teenagers and this isn't your stereotypical romance, they're not perfect which is why they're so very perfect for each other. I loved both of their sense of humor, I enjoyed Daniels parents quite a bit and also really liked how much Six hand changed. There's just so much going on in such a small book. It never really felt like a Novella to me, more like a quick novel : ) By the end of the novella I cared for them both just as much as I did Sky and Holder and it was so nice seeing where Sky and Holder are at now and how they are doing.

I think I have to agree with Colleen Hoover about her publishers telling her she was nuts for giving this one away for free because I definitely would have paid for this book although I'm glad she did release it for free. It was a very fun and nice present to all of her fans and I for one really appreciate it. I haven't read all of her books yet which is something I plan to remedy soon. She's just such a great writer and she knows how to pull your emotions in twenty different directions. Her romance scenes are SUPER romantic: remember Holder and Sky's first non-kiss kiss? Her sad scenes require a bucket for all the tears: the revelation at the end of Hopeless and her fun scenes will have you smiling and laughing out loud like when Daniel and Six make their big escape from Six's house that first time. All in all pretty much a perfect Novella that stands on it's own just fine. I originally wanted to read it because I was hoping for more Sky and Holder but came away appreciating it for what it was: Daniel and Six's story. Do yourself a favor and grab this awesome gift from Colleen Hoover, you'll be glad that you did!

Stop whatever you are reading or doing right now, and go get this book. I implore you! You want to read it, no, you NEED to read it. I am having a hard time forming my many thoughts into words to convey just how FANTASTIC this book was! The emotions that she conveys in so little pages are nothing short of brilliant. I know I shouldn’t expect anything less from Colleen, but every time I read her newest book and I think it can’t get better than this……it does. I actually feel bad for the books I read next, because the bar has been raised HIGH!

Her laugh is intoxicating and I try to think of how I can get her to do it again.

So a few months ago after I devoured Losing Hope, I immediately went to my Facebook book group and raved that she should do a book for Daniel and Six. Even though they had little interaction (that we knew of) in Hopeless and Losing Hope, I could envision that she had a story to tell for them. They literally jumped off the page, and to love someone more than Sky and Holder is a tall feat to accomplish. I read this book, and left thinking, Sky and Holder who??

“I’m sorry about your broken heart,” she whispers loudly. She ducks back into her bedroom and the window closes.
What broken heart? I’m pretty sure this is the first time my heart has actually felt any form of relief since the moment I started dating Val.

We begin the story in a maintenance closet, with two people looking for love in all the wrong places. Two people lost in the world, trying to find themselves, yet not knowing which way to turn. Flash forward one year and they meet again. I won’t give away any more story line details, because trust me when I say that this tale needs to be experienced firsthand. Each page was PACKED with snarky quips, heartbreaking angst, devastating honesty, friendship, trust, and that was just the prologue!

Our mouths meld together like they used to be in love and they’re just now seeing each other for the first time in years.

I actually tried to read this book slower than normal, which for me was still pretty fast, because I DID NOT want it to end! I could have easily, and happily, read another thousand pages of Daniel and Six. The banter between him and his parents cracked me up, and I loved that they were that honest and real with their kids. Towards the end, I FELT those emotions to my core! The rocked me on my tail, taking me to depths I didn’t know a book could deliver, and it is going to take a while to dig back out. Even though their story was short, I feel like it packed in everything little thing it could, all over a short time span. There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe how much I love this book. 1000 star rating from me!!!

Finding Cinderella is my love affair. I am hopelessly in love with this story and Daniel and Six. I laughed out loud throughout my journey with this story. It is perfect. It is compelling. It is remarkable. It is beyond everything I have ever read. I have never read a book that has made me laugh SO MUCH. This is the first e-book I have that has been high-lighted A LOT. Almost every page has something high-lighted because everything about this book is loveable. It is “unhateable”.This is the first book I have read by Colleen Hoover and she is going on my top 3 favorite authors. I demand you to read this book because you WON’T be disappointed. You will love it forever along with the characters, especially Daniel. I probably cheated on my fiance with Daniel on my mind way too many times. He is not perfect but he is perfect. He has made me laugh like no one else ever has. I hope you don’t fall in love with him…I only share him with Six because they are so adorable together! Their chemistry, their unique relationship is spectacular.Colleen, you are the master, you are the queen. You SUCCEEDED with this story and I cannot wait till I read more and more of your work.
