About this audiobook
Tate Murphy is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. She grew up a million miles away from the easy life Matt Chase has had. She's spent her life pulling herself and her siblings up and out of that trailer by the railroad tracks and she hasn't looked back. Matt Chase is a dream of a guy and she's certainly not going to turn down a short fling with one of the most handsome men she's ever seen!
Matt Chase has watched each one of his brothers find love and he knows he's ready for that too. It's all a matter of finding the woman who captures his heart. He's certainly sampled his fair share of them but none has moved him the way Tate Murphy does.
But as Matt gets to know Tate and appreciate her strength and unique beauty, he also realizes she's got some big self-esteem issues about her past. To build a future, he's got to find a way past some big road blocks.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This 4th book in the Chase Brothers series was pretty good. Fortunately, in this final story some of the characters stopped snorting! This story was about Matt Chase and Tate Murphy. It was fun having big families on both sides and I loved all the different characters.

HEA or HFN? HFN - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I hesitated to give this the full five stars, because I'm not really into contemporary romance. The world-building in paranormal and historical romance helps keep me from getting bored. But this book totally nails two of my favorite themes: fat girl and abused girl. Anyone reading this review who knows a book with similar heroines, please send me a message. I loved Tate's vulnerability. This storyline is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Broken, abused, insecure women who are not doormats or meek or boring, and the protective men who love them. More, please. (5 stars)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I liked many things about this steamy romance such as how the hero steadfastly pursued the heroine and how they worked out relationship problems but while I sympathized with the heroine she overdid resistance and lost credibility giving in to blackmail. Tate makes cookies for Matt for helping her after an accident.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved this book!! An awesome end to the Chase brothers series and hopefully a start to another series in Petal. I love Polly the matriarch and really want to see more of her with Tate's siblings who she has adopted!
This was a steamy read with the typical angst of the curvy heroine. I really wish the big girls were not so whiny about their weight. Other than that I loved it!! - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5(This review applies to books 2, 3, and 4 in this series)There’s not much to say about these books that I didn’t already say about the first one. Like the first, the main conflict in these is an outside threat. The sex in the second and third books starts a bit sooner than the first, but I’m not complaining. Dane writes sex well. And it’s good that she manages to give us female characters that are different than one another, because the men are largely the same person. I was sick when I picked up the second book, and it was the perfect prescription – something entertaining that I didn’t need to think about very much.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Making Chase is the last of the series about the Chase brothers. I'm a little sad to see this series end but noticed that Dane is publishing another book/series set in the same town so I'm hoping we get to see these couples again as they live and grow.
Making Chase is Matt's story and I think I liked Tate the most of all the ladies in the four books. Not that I didn't love the others but Tate's combination of smart, funny, self confident, and vulnerable was perfect. I liked the flow of their relationship and the fierceness of Tate's siblings when it came to protecting her.
All in all, a very good way to round out the series. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Loved the Chase Brothers...sad to see the last story...wishing Tate's brothers and sister's will get stories since Polly has pulled them in, so we can continue to see the Chase boys and their loves =)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was by far my favorite of the Chase Brothers books. Matt and Tate are amazing and work really well together. I really liked the change from tall strikingly beautiful woman to small curvy and beautiful, because small and curvy can be as attractive as tall and thin. Throw in the issue of "class" division within a small town and you have an interesting book. I feel Ms. Dane's writing style has grown and expande through the writing of this series.
