- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5WOW!!! This was by far one of the best books I have read in a very long time. I could not put it down. I was captivated from the first page till the last. And I just knew something was not right, the little hints here and there, the little "Sixth Sense" feelings. It was all so creepy. Mike was a typical teenager, having fun with his friends, drinking, partying, smoking, but it all came crashing down one night. An unexpected, tragic accident that left his two best friends dead and him a shell of his former self. Even his own parents and siblings were afraid to be around him anymore. He became a pariah at school, until he met Jandilyn and she made him feel whole again. She like him for himself, weird, discolored eye and all. Oh, yeah, that was an after affect of the wreck, that and an the eerie feeling he would get when that eye began to see people's aura's. But Jandilyn still stuck with him, and he with her until the day they fell in love. No turning back now. Funny how life will change a person. One single step, one single action, one single decision will change a person's life forever. I cried, I shivered, and I wished for a happier ending, but all in all, I'm a happy reader when it comes to this author's work of art.
