About this audiobook

New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Probst sparks a blissful mind-body connection as her “sexy, satisfying” (Kirkus Reviews) new series continues!

She’s an expert in helping others de-stress, but Arilyn Meadows is running on fumes. Along with her job counseling singles seeking soul mates at the Kinnections agency in Verily, New York, she’s a yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and helping hand to her beloved grandfather. No time to find Mr. Right—but after discovering her yogi boyfriend in a compromising asana, Arilyn would rather dog-sit for her honeymooning friend Kate than risk her heart on another downward dog. And when police officer Stone Petty—radiating masculinity and bad-boy attitude—is sent to her for mandatory lessons in cooling off when the job gets too hot, Arilyn vows to ignore his seductive glances and sexy grin. But there’s no halting their sizzling flirtation—a red-hot, high-speed chase that’s breaking all the limits.

It was ok, but I didn't like it like I did the others.

When opposites attract, there will be sparks
So, you think you have your life all figured out. You have your routine, inner peace and know your path. Then someone crashes the party and turns it all on its head. Arilyn finds herself in this predicament the moment Stone walks into her anger management class.

I love a female lead who has got it together. Everyone has their insecurities, and Arilyn isn’t lacking for none. But, they are minimal so if you like stronger females this is a character you can cheer onward. The hero has the most to overcome. He thinks he has his life all put into perfect boxes, but our heroine shows him another side of himself that if he wants, he can be. Oh, and the steam scenes – wow! When Arilyn decides she wants it raw, Ms. Probst gives her some wild nights and mornings in bed.

“You taste so good, …Like sugar cookies. I want to spread you out, taste you, eat you until you come apart.” (fans self)

If you love Jennifer Probst novels, this one will definitely be a winner for your reading shelves. If you never read her, although part of the Searching for series, this book can stand alone. So far of the Verily gang, this is my favorite.

I actually had high hopes that this would be a very good finish to a lackluster series, but it wasn't. it probably was the book that I liked the least, Stone was boring, rude, sometimes sexy but also condescending. and it all frustrated the hell out of me. Arilyn had all of the makings of a great heroine, but she fell a little short of that. Alas, good finish though.

*I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*Even though this is the fourth book of the series, it's the first one I read. But it won't be the last... Because not only did I love the couple of the book, I also got glimpses of the previous books' couples and now I want to acompany their journeys too!"Searching for Always" begins with the breakdown of Officer Stone Petty. Called into a house where the husband is violently beating his wife and has just thrown his small daughter into the wall, Stone loses it and assaults the man, beating him even after the man is already incapacitated. This is not the first time something like this happens, and his boss suspends him and orders him to take anger management classes as a mandatory condition to return to work.Domestic violence is the the trigger that makes him flip and Stone knows exactly why. After all he grew up seeing his father beating up his mother and, later, himself. And the last thing he needs is to be forced to take Arilyn Meadows's course...It is mentioned that they had already crossed paths in a previous book (which made me even more curious to read them) and that they took an immediate dislike of each other. Actually, Arilyn is not exactly happy either to have Stone in her course. It's enough having to deal with the end of her five year relationship, the pain, the heartbreak and the humiliation, she doesn't need to have to deal with the negative energy of the cop who is the exact opposite of what Arilyn believes and defends.Arilyn has also had a complicated childhood, but she chose to live life at its fullest, treating her body and mind with the utmost care. Arilyn is a vegetarian, only wears natural fabrics, is a yoga instructor and she meditates daily. Beyond the yoga classes and the anger management classes, she works on her friend Kate's dating agency. And she takes in abandoned puppies, training them, so they'll know how to behave when they are adopted. Arilyn has always prided herself of being able to maintain her cool under any circumstances, but lately none of her techniques seems to result. Especially when Officer Stone is involved...Stone is determined to get something good out of his punishment and makes a point of annoying Arilyn any chance he has. The weird thing is how attractive she is when she's angry. As for Arilyn, she cannot understand why Stone gets under her skin the way he does, but he seems to push all her buttons... Especially when he tries to seduce her in a rude and rough way she never imagined would attracted her so much...I loved this two and their bickering so much. They start by detesting each other, even feeling attracted to one another, and when they finally give in to temptation and begin to know each other better, they realize that they are not so different after all. I really liked the way they influenced each other, which makes them better people, more accomplished and happy. Little by little Stone realizes that Arilyn's techniques really work and finds himself resorting to them without realizing it, and Arilyn starts to understand that she can't demand of others the same level of commitment she has, and that it's also important to be out of control sometimes. In the middle we have an old but not obsolete grandfather, a nosy and meddling neighbor who may be more than she appears to be, and a chihuahua named Pinky who is a survivor and that will won everyone's hearts. The romance is sweet, even in the hotter scenes, and it was very good to accompany the protagonists evolution. I really liked the author's writing and it left a craving to return to these characters. I'm hoping the author writes a story for Stone's partner, because there is a lot of potential there...

Searching for Always by Jennifer Probst is a 2015 Gallery Books publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. While the previous book in this series had a more serious tone, “Searching for Always” has a light touch to it with zany characters and adorable puppy dogs. Arilyn is trying to move on after catching her long term boyfriend in the act of cheating on her. Having a little trouble staying serene herself, having Stone Petty, an officer of the law she had a previous encounter with, join her anger management class will give Arilyn more of a challenge than she bargained for. Stone is indeed having little trouble keeping his rage in check. This anger management course is required before he can return to work, so he must endure yoga, dogs, and his hot teacher, all while trying to stop smoking. The truth is these two are like oil and water. They can't agree on anything except the physical attraction and chemistry between them. I couldn't stop a few belly laughs here and there, especially when it came to Stone. He's grumpy, stoic, complains about everything, and is real skeptic when it come to love. But, Arilyn and an adorable chihuahua named “Pinky” will give Stone the first real incentive in his life to work at a relationship, to see it through the good times and the bad times, something he hasn't been able to commit to previously. This is such a fun book with great characters, including Arilyn's friends, whom you have all met before, if you have been following the series, ( no worries if you haven't, this one can be read as stand alone) , plus a few other secondary characters that round out the cast, giving the story a great balance and lots of vitality. It's always great to see two people who experience bad luck in the romance department find their one true love and realize this was the person they were looking for all along. I never would have put Arilyn with a guy like Stone, but as it turns out, he is perfect for her and vice versa. If you like feel good stories, hot and steamy romance, with lots of depth and heart, you really should try out this whole series. This book ranks right up there with the previous installments in the series and certainly left me in a good mood! True love ROCKS! 4.5 stars
