About this audiobook
Game of Thrones meets Graceling in this shocking and action-packed fantasy—the highly anticipated final book in the New York Times bestselling Snow Like Ashes series.
Angra is alive, his Decay is spreading—and no one is safe.
Meira will do anything to save her world. With Angra trying to break through her mental defenses, she desperately needs to learn to control her own magic—so when the leader of a mysterious Order from Paisly offers to teach her, Meira jumps at the chance. But the true solution to stopping the Decay lies in a labyrinth deep beneath the Season Kingdoms. To defeat Angra, Meira will have to enter the labyrinth, destroy the very magic she’s learning to control-- and make the biggest sacrifice of all.
Mather will do anything to save his queen. He needs to rally the Children of the Thaw, find Meira—and finally tell her how he really feels. But with a plan of attack that leaves no kingdom unscathed and a major betrayal within their ranks, winning the war—and protecting Meira—slips farther and farther out of reach.
Ceridwen will do anything to save her people. Angra had her brother killed, stole her kingdom, and made her a prisoner. But when she’s freed by an unexpected ally who reveals a shocking truth behind Summer’s slave trade, Ceridwen must take action to save her true love and her kingdom, even if it costs her what little she has left.
As Angra unleashes the Decay on the world, Meira, Mather, and Ceridwen must bring the kingdoms of Primoria together…or lose everything.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Well done to author and narrators. Much enjoyment and a moment of living in fantasy.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great finish to the trilogy. My only complaint would have been to have some verification on pronunciation between narrators. The inconsistency is a little annoying. But the story was compelling enough for me to plow through all three books.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/53.5 stars! It was a nice finale but the first book is still my favorite in this series!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Too emotional. It becam long winded. Story development very slow.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Nice ending to the trilogy. Not only the plot but each character's development wrapped up nicely. It was so evident how far Meira, Mather, and Ceridwen had come since their introduction.
Satisfying, if a bit predictable. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Might not have finished if not for the July book challenge. Glad it's finally over. Storyline and writing just seemed to keep going downhill. Felt like I kept reading the same 5 sentences over and over, this book could have been about 100 pages shorter. A real let down from the promise of the first book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was wonderful and emotional! I loved it so much. Heart wrenching and beautiful in so many ways! I'm so sad that it's over but so glad that it happened <35/5 Stars!

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Too many times books two and three are not as good as the first. In my opinion, that is the case with this series. It seemed to drag on and on. I enjoyed the story, yet I'm glad it's over, and I can move to another book. 3 of 5 stars.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A solid conclusion to the Snow Like Ashes trilogy, with the primary plot-lines wrapped up and a satisfying conclusion reached. I enjoyed the first third of this book, but I struggle through the rest. The start was strong, with Meira experiencing many things (such as a stable, loving home environment) she never had before while also grappling with hard trues (she needs to kill herself in order to end magic and defeat Angra). A lot of fighting and battles occur, as the final showdown nears, and events do build nicely to the conclusion. A good YA fantasy, but I did find parts harder to read.
