    Megyn Kelly currently serves as anchor of Fox News Channels The Kelly File. Throughout her tenure with Fox News Channel, Kelly has covered breaking news and reported on location. Before joining Fox News, Kelly served as a general assignment reporter for WJLA-TV (ABC 7) in Washington, D.C., where she covered national and local stories of interest. Prior to her career in television news, Kelly practiced law for nine years, seven years as a corporate litigator at Jones Day and was an associate for two years in the Chicago office of the law firm Bickel & Brewer LLP.       Megyn Kelly is a traitor and a liar. She straight-up looks like one of the elite villains from the Hunger Games in the cover photo. Hillary Clinton is a traitor too, but I would bet money this book is disinformation meant to sabotage the right-wing. Megyn Kelly is a FAKE conservative.

      I selected this audiobook after seeing bombshell. There were certain parts of the film I was disappointed with and I wanted more first hand accounts of the events. There's so much I don't agree with this woman on. Some of the things she's said in the past few years have been so stupid, even after reading this, I don't understand how she came to the conclusions she did when she is so smart. She does, however, despite some problematic assertions, speak truth to power and still somehow manages to be strong. I think that's an important lesson to learn from as many kinds of people as we can in a divided time.

      Very good book. Kept my attention. Not too much politics, but enough to hear Megan’s perspective. Love that she’s the reader!

      This is a powerful, unbelievably well researched book that exposes the contradictions within the Clinton dynasty, although it is so information driven that I could not take it all in without reading it slowly. Still, for ordinary citizens, non-scholars, it shows just how carefully the Clintons, both experienced and knowledgeable lawyers, have skirted the outer edges of our legal and justice system to take advantage of the power they wield within their own party, the Democrats, to advantage themselves time and time again. In much the same way that Bill Clinton exploited the word “is” in his definition of sexual relations, they have exploited the word “fundraising”, for themselves and their Clinton Foundation, during their tenure in government and outside of it for decades. There is little more to say other than that a reader with an open mind will learn how they hobnob with the rich and famous, make deals with shady governments and often shadier operatives, disregard criminal behavior in their associates, and enrich themselves and their friends in the process, which appears to be their primary goal. The Clintons are very smart. They know how to create an unsolvable puzzle, a maze that is unfathomable and therefore untraceable with regard to their personal and public behavior. From their secret server to their interactions and speeches in foreign countries, their activities read like a web of intrigue that could be found in a novel, but not in reality. However, this truth is stranger than fiction. Because of their expertise in covering their tracks, it is simply not possible to directly point a finger at any particular actions they have taken. There is no straight line that leads to them; rather, there is a circuitous route of coincidences of such sheer magnitude, that seem to involve the enrichment of the Clintons, the Clinton Foundation, and those they have dealings with or arrange meetings for, with heads of state or other influential politicians and leaders, from whom they then curry favor or enrich themselves or other friends and participants, that it is difficult to escape the inevitable conclusion that the Clintons know how to work the system for their own benefit, first and foremost. It appears that the authority of the Clintons knows know bounds. If they see opportunity, they know how to exploit it; they are the perfect opportunists. Oddly, or perhaps for obvious reasons, depending on who is interested in the question of their behavior patterns, the current government, under Barack Obama, appears not even willing to allow or provide a proper investigation by the Justice Department into their machinations because all the party, and those involved in its hierarchy and in the higher echelons of the administration, seem to care only about winning an election. After reading this book, it feels that their activities, and what is in the best interest of the country, seems secondary to the needs of the party, the Democrats, and the Clintons, who want to retain the White House at all costs. The Clintons are very powerful indeed; they have done their duty for their party; they have been loyal, and the powers that be believe that they deserve to be rewarded. They are well funded and connected and seem to be coated in Teflon, often avoiding investigation into their questionable activities. The media, already indicted for its bias, refuses to cover their “escapades” honestly or aggressively, and instead, seems to spin the news in favor of the candidates they prefer, avoiding the reporting of actual news. This book makes the point that America seems to be at a very important crossroads which will affect future generations for years.

      Anyone who reads this book and does not come away with the feeling that the Clintons have been taking the US for a ride, for a very long time, should pour another cup of coffee and read the book again. As has already been said, it is well-researched and the "coincidences" are beyond extraordinary. It should also be noted that the Clinton Foundation has been able to amass a bank balance never before experienced by a legitimate charity, in such a short time, without a major disaster or other such occurrence for which major funding would have been needed. This book should be required reading for every voter, before the upcoming election.

      I make it a habit,and encourage others to read everything available past and present on political power holders. And although Peter is touted as politically neutral,he is not. However,he is an able and thorough investigator and apt writer. What he illustrates,in a very limited way( since he could have delved all the way back to the seventies in his search for political brokerage for cash) is pretty much exactly why the left declined to embrace her in 2008,and was deeply divided on supporting her in 2016. There is just as much misdoing,and downright selling out of the American public on Ms. Clinton's part,including Russian influence trading and profiteering as on Donald Trump. The only difference being Ms. Clinton is much more intelligent with her politics and her cash.

      For those who have followed the Clintons from their political childhood(so to speak) from Rose Law and Dan Lassiter to her reckless (and narcissist) husband who foisted NAFTA and financial deregulation on the nation,while she served as a calculating politico who had cheered the Iraq War and helped pass George W. Bush?s regressive 2005 bankruptcy bill, to her role in overseeing the expansion of the national-security state, encouraging construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, and backing approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership among other evils,much of this comes as no surprise. But if you are not as versed in Clinton,this can be an eye opener.

      Here there be slant,there do be; beyond the slant and in the details(that can be chased down and researched by any dilligent reader) you find the light throws stark understanding of why they have always been the left's least embraced. Politics for cash and Clintons are as inimical as the Industrialist barons ever were.

      However,caveat-there are inaccuracies and assumptions made that illustrate that the author has a strong political bias and agenda. Do your own diligence on his findings.

      The Clintons are as crooked as the day is long. I thought the book was very informative. Who would ever pay Slick Willie a half million dollars for a speech, unless it was a bribe. The Clintons have lied to the public throughout their political careers. Who can forget, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman," Slick Will declared. Even though this book and other books point out their indiscretions and crimes, I have doubt that they will ever pay for their crimes. Some people are above the law. Two thumbs up for the book. Two thumbs down for the Clintons.

      Near the end of Bill Clinton's second term, he established a non-profit agency for worldwide charitable purposes. However, the Clintons are skilled in blurring the boundaries between charitable, political, and charity. Peter Schweizer provides a detailed referenced book describing contiguous series of events involving requests to Hillary Clinton as U.S. Senator and Secretary of State, monies paid to Bill for speeches, and donations to the Clinton Foundation. Although the author doesn't indicate that political corruption is difficult to prove, he does state that much of the Clintons' relationship with the Clinton Foundation could be considered unethical. With the Clinton Foundation so much in the news, this book does provide the inquiring mind with a good overview of activities of the Clinton Foundation in the 21st century.

      I have felt that Megan Kelly won the genetic lottery in physical appearance, IQ and raw talent. Little did I know just how hard she had to work to become the success person that she is. Her loving family and the early death of her father helped shape who she became. She completed law school and practiced law for ten years. Because of long hours and feeling unfulfilled, she then switched her career path to become a cable TV personality and journalist. After a failed marriage, Megan met another man who she would marry and focused on being a wife and a mother of 3 children. Megyn Kelly gives an open honest look into her life. She reveals exactly who she is, what she wants, what she won't allow, her dreams, passions, and flaws. Her genetic- lottery win did not exempt her from some very difficult roadblocks which she explains with honesty and humility. I was surprised at her penetrating point of view concerning human relationships. The unveiled portrait of her life inspires the young to never sell themselves short, never underestimate the importance of the power of hard work and personal evaluation of priorities. I grew to like her more after reading this book because of her honesty and courage. This is a motivating read for younger and older women alike.

      I was fascinated while reading Megyn Kelly’s memoir, ‘Settle For More,’ as she portrayed her loneliness and humiliation while bullied as a teenager, to the grinding hours of work as a corporate lawyer, followed by her jaunt towards aspiring to become a top national newscaster for Fox News. The story was riveting, occasionally touching, and full of the self-deprecating humor which is so Megyn Kelly. Some critics felt that in telling her tale, Ms. Kelly was self-possessed as she depicted herself as an award winning law student, superstar corporate lawyer, perfect mother and wife, and a ratings-winning anchor for Fox News. I didn’t think that she portrayed herself to seem so perfect, as there were moments in the story where she resonated about how difficult the challenges were, and how she felt distraught. But I did think that Ms. Kelly resoundingly presented the message that because of her humiliation of being bullied in her teenage years, she learned how to stand up to her adversaries and endure the challenges, even when they came from the Republican Presidential candidate for President, Trump. Perhaps because of my naiveté, I was appalled and concerned when I read how she was hounded on Twitter with disparaging remarks from our current President, and that the verbal assault continued for nine months. The Republican candidate called her a ‘bimbo, angry, crazy, over-rated’ and that there was blood coming out of her eyes, and ‘blood coming out of her wherever.’ During the months of tension, while Trump was on the warpath regarding her, Ms. Kelly was called into the Fox Network executive Roger Ailes’ office numerous times, as he was a close associate of the aspiring Presidential candidate. Ms. Kelly reveals in her memoir that Mr. Ailes held many similarities to Trump in that they were both successful corporate executives, of the same generation and age group, and both had questionable characteristics regarding treatment of women. The Murdochs, who owned the network, later dismissed Roger Ailes, due in part to the testimony from Megyan Kelly. Several women additionally came forward to testify that Mr. Ailes was a misogynist and sexual predator. Possibly seeing that Ms. Kelly represented the future of Fox News, the Murdoch brothers brought an end to the Ailes’ dynasty at the network while Donald Trump moved on to assume the Presidency. Since the book’s publication, Megyn Kelly has announced that she is quitting Fox News to move to NBC News, which is an ironic turn of events.

      I thought this was interesting. She definitely did a lot in and with her life. Also, I respect how she made her own way and made choices she could live with without compromising her goals. I think this would really be great to girls leaving high school or just starting their careers. It's straightforward and easy to read. She touches on a lot of subjects that are food for thought, but mostly it's the details of her life. She's a tenacious woman, and this book has potential to motivate others to be the strongest versions of themselves. The downside is that she's always so on task about everything that I had trouble with feeling and empathy, but I do respect her focus.

      I am not a fan of Fox News for many reasons. Therefore, I am not a regular viewer of Kelly’s show on that network. To me, she was just one of a number of beautiful women that Fox has on its news shows reading the news according to then head of Fox, Roger Ailes. However, she caught my attention when Donald Trump singled her out and went after her. It got me wondering about the type of woman Trump would set his sights on to destroy, especially when she was an anchor on his favorite news network headed by his good friend Ailes. I was further impressed when the Gretchen Carlson situation unfolded and it came to light that Kelly did not fold to pressure from Fox to spout the party line and instead she quietly, behind the scenes, spoke up about her experiences with the infamous Ailes. While I might not agree with everything she believes or stands for, I enjoyed this book about her life. She is an amazing woman and someone to respect.

      Settle for More by Fox New celebrity Megyn Kelly is her autobiography and an especially interesting recounting of her dealings with Donald Trump in the Fox News debates.Megyn is a great role model for 20-30 years olds with her focus, hard work and persistence. She's not afraid to show her weaknesses and presents herself as a mature, thoughtful and fun loving individual. It's interesting to read about her family relationships and dynamic. A little too much time spent oohing and aahing her children, but I suppose she can be forgiven this as a proud Mom. Overall, an interesting book and an inspirational one.
