About this audiobook

New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby continues to delight the senses with the latest novel in her delectable Fusion series.

As the take-charge wine bar manager of Seduction, Portland's hottest new restaurant, Katrina Meyers is the definition of no-nonsense, and she isn't afraid of anything. Well, almost anything: she hates to fly. When she's forced to travel on a death trap with wings, the turbulence from hell has her reaching for any safe haven—including the incredibly handsome guy sitting next to her.

Ryan ""Mac"" MacKenzie hasn't been able to get his sexy seatmate out of his head. The way she clung to him stirred something inside him he didn't think existed: tenderness. As the owner of a successful wine touring company, Mac thinks he's got a handle on what life can throw at him and he's not prepared for any surprises, especially in the feelings department. And when he brings a tour into Seduction, he sees the petite spitfire he just can't forget.

Mac is determined to discover what else they have in common besides fine wine and the inability to keep their hands off each other. But what will it take for two stubborn people to realize that what they have is so much more than a hot chemistry between the sheets and to admit to falling in love…?

Blush For Me is the third book in the Fusion series and I have been having a fun time with this series. I have become hooked on Kristen Proby's writing style and I just get such a fun kick out of her books here. This latest series is pretty wonderful and I love these group of women and their friendship that we see here. I knew I wanted to listen to this book and I was shocked, delightfully so, to see that this series is available on audio at my local library, so I saved myself a credit which I won't complain about that. Blush For Me is a story that we see that is your typical fling trope with some tart and sweet thrown into the mix.Our story begins with our heroine, Katrina Meyers, who is one of the five women who have started their restaurant together. Kat is in charge of the bar and the specialty in wine. So she takes a trip to a wine conference, but she has a great fear of flying. But her neighbor on the plane, a mysterious but sexy man, helps her through her fear and she is shocked when she sees that he is at the same wine conference as she is. Sparks fly between these two, and they come to an agreement....to a sexacation. A fling of sorts, with no strings attached. Neither of them ever could think that they would meet again. But even though the sex is off the charts, there is something more between Kat and Mac. When Kat returns home though she is shocked to see her "Mac" in her restaurant. And at first, she doesn't know how to react to his presence at first. But both Mac and Kat know that there is a lot more between them than just a casual fling, and they mutually decide to see is between them and explore it.I will admit that I simply had a fun time with this book, I wouldn't say it's my favorite of the series so far, but a delightful romance that is written here. I am not always on board with the fling trope, but it seemed to really work for the set up of the story. I do think that these two make a great pairing though. Kat can be a bit too stubborn for her own good and a bit "bitchy" at times. I mean she really can be mean at times, although she doesn't mean too but she takes no crap from anyone and can go too far at times. But this is where our fabulous hero comes in. He knows how to handle Kat and her feisty attitude especially in her manner towards him and lets her realize when she crosses the line. And the SEX is off the charts in this book. WHOOEE!! These two have sparks of SPARKS that is for sure. Mac is very alpha in this book, he likes his own way at times but boy he is the one that dominates the sexy times and its HOT!! I just loved how he is with Kat though and they really know how to get it on. I do think that Kat knows how to handle Mac outside the bedroom so beautifully. She doesn't let him go too far with his alpha ways. But we also see a great friendship that builds between these two as well a great admiration for each other and their passions in their careers and lives. There is also a bit of a side plot dealing with some drama with Mac's family that I really took a heart to. I really enjoyed seeing this plotline develop and Proby did a great job in not having it detract from the romance and I really loved the bit of suspense that we get in the end of the book, it totally worked for me and seemed to flow evenly through the story. The narrators for this book are two of my favorites and they are SUPERB to listen to together and they really brought out Mac and Kat's personalities so endearingly.I found Blush For Me to be a story of sensuality, personal growth and a engaging love story that will give you happy feels. OUTSTANDING!!

Blush for Me, part of the Fusion series by Kristen Proby was an average romance. I would have liked to see a little more of a slow burn between the characters after they met on the plane, but instead their affair/sexcation progressed rather rapidly. This wasn't interesting to me and did not endear me to the characters. Even though there was some excitement and tension near the end that could have made the story more interesting, it was resolved too quickly for my taste. Overall it was an average contemporary romance and I will recommend to others who will enjoy it.

I liked this book and felt the chemistry between the characters. However at time I had a hard time staying with the book. I found myself picking it up and putting it down a number of times. I definetly will give it another read to see if the second time I feel different.

I loved the chemistry between Kat and Mac; a fantastic job creating the connection between these two characters. Their passion jumps from the pages in an all-consuming inferno. As the book develops, there are several hectic plot points which are thrown in and resolved too quickly. I would have preferred more focus on the kidnapping and birth scenes as they both felt rushed; creating a chaotic climax and release which left me a little disappointed. Overall, I did enjoy the book and would not hesitate to pick up another novel by Kristen Proby.

I FIND IT DIFFICULT REVIEWING THIS BOOK. IT STARTS OUT GREAT. KAT'S PLANE TRIP WAS VERY BELIEVABLE. THE RELATION TO MAC NOT SO MUCH, A LOT OF SEX AND PRETTY RAUNCHY LANGUAGE BETWEEN THE GIRLFRIENDS DIDN'T ADD MUCH. I FOUND THE PLOT CENTERED AROUND MAC'S FATHER VERY WEAK,

Though 'Blush for Me' is part of the Fusion series, it can be read as a standalone. The Fusion series follows the lady owners of the restaurant Seduction, and Kat is the wine bar manager. What starts as a business trip and encounter with a stranger on an airplane, who ends up being on the business trip as well, turns into more than either Kat or Mac had intended.Kat and Mac's story was a nice, sweet read. They're grown-ups, and behave in a mostly mature manner. Refreshingly, this makes them behave like idiots minimally. This also leaves the story low in the drama department. I loved them as a couple and they read beautifully as two characters genuinely attracted to each other, not just physically, but emotionally and intellectually. They also read very sweetly and low on the angsty, emotion-driven stuff. Their group of friends are lovely, and they feel like people you'd like to hang out with. So this series is set with some wonderful characters. I'm just noticing it's a mild, nice, sweet series, something to enjoy in the moment, but perhaps not overly memorable. I'm still curious to see where the rest of the series takes us with the remaining ladies.

This is the third book in Kristen Proby's Fusion Series. Not having read the first two, I appreciated the author giving enough background about the other characters so I didn't feel totally lost. On a whole I thought this book was weak. The character development was good. However, the overall pace of the plot was rushed. Also, the language was off-putting and seemed to be used solely for sensationalism. There was nothing in this novel to make me want to read another in the series.

I found Blush For Me a fast paced, witty story with realist characters that work hard and play harder. Kat is a part owned of a restaurant who goes on a wine conference and meets up with Mac and decide to use their time there as a "sexcation", with no commitments just fun. Unfortunately their time together became so much more. Luckily, they meet up again and discover they mean more to each other. This story is obviously part of a series but works just as well as a stand alone. I received this from the Early Reviewers but I will be going back for the others in this series.

Kat Meyers and Mac McKenzie meet as seatmates when Kat freaks out with the bumpy ride on her first flight and he offers encouragement. They hook up that same week, and experience lots of intense sex, with the idea that there will be no further relationship, her choice. But fate lands them in the same town and their affair becomes much more. There are many sex scenes in this book, but not much plot or development of characters. Its definitely a steamy read, but not much in the way of anything else.
