About this audiobook

Barely recovered from her brush with necromancy, Ivy is flung once more into a world of intrigue, adventure, and potential death and disaster. It's not her fault-it just so turns out that she's now the only person in the entire world who can communicate with the dead. And they're a chatty bunch with a list of demands.

When the ghosts offer information about a witch-hating mass murderer in return for Ivy's help, she has no choice but to get involved. She might be getting herself into more trouble than she realizes, though-and that's even before she's dragged to Sunday dinner so she can meet Winter's family . . .

I love this series but this audio is trash and the whole climax ending is cut out and jumps to the epilogue. It also cuts out at the end of the chapters and at least once in the middle. The rating is for the quality of the audio not the story.

This was a very cute series of books. If you just want some downtime, it’s worth the time.

I had already read this series before I found it on audio book. I love it. I gave 5 stars for the content. The narrator is one of the best I've heard. However, nearly the end of every chapter is cut off to soon losing the end of the sentence. A few times it acts like it is in fast forward.

Ivy is my new favourite anti hero, just the thought of getting off the couch to do some of the things she did, makes me want to take tomorrow off from work...\

In the aftermath of the events in Scotland, Ivy Wilde, the laziest witch in Oxford, finds herself with a new and troubling ability - she can see and speak to the dead. Unfortunately for Ivy, these spirits are not above haunting her until she gives in to their demands even if it involves hunting for a serial killer targeting neophyte witches.

It has been a wild ride following along with Ivy and the sexy Raphael Winter as they investigate supernatural crimes, and I am sorry that the series has come to an end. Nevertheless, this final installment is fun, and the series ends on a satisfying note.

Ivy and Rafe are now settled comfortably in their relationship, so the focus is on the serial killer investigation, which has some excellent twists and turns.

Tanya Eby's narration is excellent, and she has truly captured Ivy's personality. Of course, this review would not be complete without mentioning Brutus, who absolutely steals the show once again.

All in all, a highly entertaining series and I will be reading more by Helen Harper soon.

I love this series, I love stories where lazy characters save the day, overcome jerks, or just generally do well. Helen Harper is a very talented author and from her output obviously not lazy like Ivy. I've read her Highland Magic series and this Lazy girl series and the characters and plots have all been excellent, but it's the little touches that she puts in her books that make them worthwhile. For instance, her cat Brutus jumps in a box as any cat lover knows, cats love to do. Ivy closes the lid on the box and whispers to Brutus "Now we don't know whether you're alive or dead."
I hope this isn't the final book in the series, I'd really like to see where Ivy goes from here.

This was an entertaining and satisfying end to the trilogy. I was impressed by how well all the remaining threads were tied off--for a bit, I wasn't sure the author could pull it off. (But she did!)

I'm actually repeating my review of the second book:I really liked the first book, a random Kindle Unlimited find. This was also a fun read, definitely edited and ready to be published. At time I read, it was also in KU.After enjoying the first book so much, I immediately binged the next two books. I recommend the books and the series but not to binge them back to back. Because the books are good with excellent story flow -- the series not so much. Not sure how to explain except the three books I read don't seem to belong together despite a shared main character. Oh, there are a few bits getting on with expected plot, careers and romance. But the main character just seems after first book to be thrown into settings and circumstances that don't seem to mesh with previous book -- maybe even completely different genres for each book.

Spirit WitchThe Lazy Girl's Guide to Magic, Book 3By: Helen HarperNarrated by: Tanya EbyLOL, This series just gets better! Start from the beginning, you don't want to miss the fun. Something happens in book two that causes Ivy to see ghosts now. It is hilarious! This whole series has kept me laughing. It is a fun series with lots of action, crazy characters, (especially her cat Brutus my favorite), and so much more! This is my new favorite series and I read or listen to over 900 books a year. Be sure to read book 4 too! it isn't in audible. The narrator is super awesome! She makes it so funny, she has the right stuff for these books.

Now, this is more like it. *I want to know the background of Blackbeard, how he became that way.*Brutus reminds me of Iron Fey's Grimalkin. Is he just an ordinary familiar or is there something more to him?*Is this only a trilogy? Awww, it feels like there must be more.
