About this audiobook

When teenage sisters go missing in the mysterious "Bennington Triangle" of Vermont, an area renowned for its disappearances and strange occurrences over the past hundred years, FBI agent Jack Juarez brings K-9 handler Jamie Flint and her dog Phantom in to assist with the search. When Jack realizes the case shares haunting similarities with the murders of the missing girls' aunts ten years before, it becomes clear that he and Jamie are dealing with much more than two girls who simply wandered off the beaten path.

Jamie Flint and her son Bear and his friend Ren go to Glastonbury, Vermont on a K-9 Search and Rescue to find two lost sisters. The FBI has asked for Jamie’s help as the father Dean Redfield had requested her. When they find the murdered body of one sister Dean Redfield loses it, he shoots Bear, and then kidnaps Bear and Ren, demanding Jamie find his other daughter within the next 24 hours.Jen Blood produces a dark atmosphere to this search and rescue mission. The plot keeps the tension building and with the sense of time running out my attention was totally engaged. Fast-paced, enjoyable read.

Fine, suspenseful mystery featuring a female search-and--rescue dog handler, an isolated community from which young women have been disappearing. The dog handler is psychic, her son even more so, but the supernatural teases without over whelming the mystery. The K9 search lore is very interesting. Highly recommended.
